ANDY ROSS
This whole crazy, blessed ride started with a bow and my passion for the outdoors.
Andy Ross is not a man to back down from a challenge. He first began making bows in 2005, but when he was unable to find an Outdoor Channel personality to shoot them on one of their TV shows, he hired a cameraman and set out to film his own hunts. Once the footage was edited and released on DVD, a copy went into the box of each bow he sold. Somehow, one of the DVDs found its way to the Outdoor Channel, and an offer was made for Andy to present his own show: Maximum Archery World Tour.
They filmed the travel, the camaraderie, the night life, and of course, the hunt. To give the show a rock-n-roll feel, Andy wrote and recorded music, which they used for the theme, and throughout the show, including “Hunt Me Down,” “Gotta Go Hunting Blues,” and “Blood Trail on a White Tail.”
As iTunes and music file-sharing began to take off, some of the songs gained traction and went viral, and it wasn’t long before Nashville artists and professional touring musicians were wanting to co-write music with Andy for his show. The music grew in popularity, and well-known Nashville producer Doug Grau reached out and suggested Andy come to town to make a full album. Their first album was You Ain’t Seen Crazy Yet.

When the opportunity to make a second album arose, Andy decided to take a break from his TV show, and pursue music full time.
On Andy’s third album, Time to Fight, he and Doug continued to build on the patriotic, pro-Second Amendment, pro-Constitution, rock-n-roll vibe that they had created. The two had already talked about adding a line of products to fit their emerging brand, but when they played the first single from the new album to good friend and entrepreneur Corey Lambrecht, he declared that the song should be the brand, and the new company’s mission statement. That was the moment when American Rebel - America’s Patriotic Brand was born.
The first products to launch were a line of concealed carry products for safely carrying a firearm: coats, jackets, and backpacks for men and women. All American Rebel products feature the proprietary protection pocket. Next came American Rebel handgun boxes, and then they introduced their full-size American Rebel safes. They have continued to add to the brand, including 2A Lockers and self-defense products.
Most recently, American Rebel bought out one of the industry’s largest competitors (Champion Safes), and currently have approximately 400 retail stores across the country carrying their products.
As of February 2022, American Rebel became a publicly-traded company on NASDAQ, and entered into an accelerated growth mode.
Building on the success of single releases from his albums, “Rebel,” “Cold Dead Hand,” “What We Do For Fun Around Here,” “Back On The Backroads,” “Playing In The Mud,” and “All American Heart,” Andy is currently in the process of recording his fourth album, and will be supported by ongoing tour dates, a radio tour, and patriotic concerts, festivals, and events.
The exposure and media attention surrounding Andy’s TV show, Maximum Archery World Tour, in addition to his appearance on Counting Cars and on magazine covers, in feature articles, on countless radio, TV, weekly podcasts, and interviews like ABC News, The Wayne Allyn Root Show, Freedom XM, Benziga, and New To The Street, give Andy a loud bullhorn at his fingertips—all aimed at promoting American Rebel and the American Rebel Attitude.
